Mr. Jimmy Obuya is a values-driven leader committed to advancing social accountability, justice, and community resilience. Grounded in principles of solidarity, compassion, and equity, he brings clarity, healing, and strategic insight to communities and institutions navigating complex development challenges. With over a decade of experience in local, regional, and global interfaith and multifaith spaces, he has built dialogue tools, networks, and faith-inspired interventions that bridge development and spirituality.
His work has strengthened national and regional interfaith platforms across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, advancing the inclusion of children, youth, and women while fostering collaboration between faith-based, secular, and policy actors.
He has directed transformative initiatives in child protection, youth empowerment, gender inclusion, civic education, and peacebuilding, strengthening governance, coordination, and community systems. A mentor and capacity builder, he supports small and medium-sized initiatives advancing digital inclusion, social innovation, and community transformation.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and has completed coursework for a Master’s in M&E, alongside professional qualifications in Project Management, Communication, Social Behaviour Change, IT for Development, Inclusive Programming, and Child and Youth-Led Engagement.
