Ms. Margareta Grape

Now retired, Ms Grape combines a rich legacy of diverse leadership service roles, including as General Secretary of the International Center of the Swedish Labour Movement; Director of the office for social integration at the City of Stockholm; Head of the international department at the City Hall of Stockholm; An appointed juror to the District Court of Appeal I Stockholm, and a member of the board of directors of SIDA. Her faith-based record includes serving as Director of international Mission and Diaconia at the Church of Sweden, and Head of the World Council of Churches office of the United Nations, in New York. During her time in New York, Ms Grape also served on the Multi-Faith Advisory Board of the United Nations Interagency Task Force on Religion and Development. After her retirement, Ms Grape was Special Advisor to the Secretary General of Religions for Peace, at the time the organization was led by Azza Karam.
